Dubai, UAE – The United Arab Emirates’ Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has strongly urged India and Pakistan to back off the edge and prevent further escalation in the face of escalating military tensions.

In a well-crafted statement, Sheikh Abdullah stressed the urgent need for restraint, urging both countries to put diplomatic engagement and productive dialogue ahead of conflict. In addition to bilateral relations, he pointed out that maintaining regional security and preventing instability across South Asia depend on a peaceful solution reached through understanding.

Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s firm commitment to peaceful conflict resolution, stressing that diplomacy is the most practical and effective means of resolving differences. He stressed that establishing lasting peace, stability and prosperity for the people of the region requires sincere communication and cooperation.
