UAE Big Ticket Draw: Bangladeshi Expat Wins Dh20 Million Grand Prize

A Bangladeshi delivery rider has won a grand prize of Dh20 million with the latest Big Ticket draw.

Abu Dhabi-based Abul Monsoor Abdul Sabour, 50, has been buying raffle draw entries since 2007.

In its latest edition, he and his friends bought five tickets, one of which was the winning ticket, changing the course of his destiny.

Saboor couldn’t believe his luck after buying the ticket and winning years later. He was shocked when he got a once-in-a-lifetime call. When asked about her plans for the cash prize, she shared that it will support her family and fulfill her dream of starting a business.

“I’m so ecstatic right now I’m at a loss for words,” she said when asked if she had any news for other customers.

This October, apart from a chance to win the grand prize, fans have a chance to win 24 carat gold bars every day throughout October.

Starting October 2, every ticket purchased will automatically enter participants into an electronic draw, giving the lucky winner a chance to take home a valuable gold nugget each day. Every ticket purchased in October earns a place in the grand draw on November 3, where one lucky participant will win a prize of Dh20 million.

Apart from these prizes, participants also stand a chance to win luxury cars.

A Range Rover Velar worth Dh355,000 will be drawn on November 3, while a BMW 840i worth Dh470,000 will be unveiled on October 1 and the draw will take place on December 3.
