UAE President Announces $100 Million Aid Package for Lebanon Amid Crisis
United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered an urgent $100 million relief package for the Lebanese people in a gesture of solidarity.
The announcement comes as Israel’s continued bombing of Lebanon has led to significant loss of life and widespread displacement. In the past week, more than a hundred civilians, including children, have been killed and thousands have been displaced since September 24.
The UAE provides drinking water to medical centers in Gaza
According to WAM reports, the UAE’s Operation Civilrus Night 3 team has also reached the occupied territories of Gaza and distributed drinking water to medical points and areas where displaced people have gathered in Khan Yunis.
To ease the difficulties of accessing water amid the challenges faced by Gaza’s residents, the operation’s volunteers also provided water tanks to medical points.
The UAE is addressing the water crisis in the Gaza Strip through various projects such as repairing water lines and networks in Khan Younis and northern Gaza, providing water tanks and distributing drinking water to displaced people in camps. Residents of the Gaza Strip faced
