The governments of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bermuda have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This model has led to better policies, smarter services, and tangible benefits for our society and economy. It includes the world’s first government accelerators, the One Million Arab Coders initiative, and many leadership programs. We are committed to sharing our experiences with other agile nations like Bermuda. In doing so, we support other governments to become more resilient and accelerate progress on SDGs,” Lootah stated.

Minister Hayward highlighted Bermuda’s participation in the Government Experience Exchange Programme. He called it a testament to the strong and evolving relationship between Bermuda and the UAE. “Bermuda’s participation highlights the robust and deepening friendship between Bermuda and the UAE,” said Minister Hayward.

UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development
