UAE and Bermuda Sign MoU for Government Development and Modernization

The governments of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bermuda have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU focuses on exchanging knowledge and experiences in government development and modernization. Signing of the MoU

He is also the Chairman of the National Committee for Sustainable Development Goals. Hayward is Bermuda’s Minister of Economy and Labour.
Lootah emphasized the UAE’s commitment to human capacity development and public sector innovation. “The UAE has developed a leading model for human capacity development and innovation. This model has led to better policies, smarter services, and tangible benefits for our society and economy. It includes the world’s first government accelerators, the One Million Arab Coders initiative, and many leadership programs. We are committed to sharing our experiences with other agile nations like Bermuda. In doing so, we support other governments to become more resilient and accelerate progress on SDGs,” Lootah stated.
Minister Hayward highlighted Bermuda’s participation in the Government Experience Exchange Programme. He called it a testament to the strong and evolving relationship between Bermuda and the UAE. “Bermuda’s participation highlights the robust and deepening friendship between Bermuda and the UAE,” said Minister Hayward.
UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development
The UN HLPF on Sustainable Development is organized by the UN Economic and Social Affairs Department. It takes place at the UN headquarters in New York and runs until July 17. The forum serves as a platform for countries to discuss and review progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
