UAE Ambassador Presents Credentials to Iraq’s Foreign Minister
Baghdad [Iraq], August 16: The UAE Ambassador to Iraq Abdullah Matar Al Masroui presented a copy of his credentials to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Fuadh Mohammad Hussain, at the ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.
During the meeting, Abdullah Matar Al Masroui conveyed the greetings of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Saeed Al Nahyan and his wishes for further development and prosperity in all fields for the government and people of Iraq.
Al Mazrouei expressed his pride in representing the UAE in Iraq and his eagerness to promote cooperation in various areas to strengthen relations between the two countries.
For his part, Hussain extended his greetings to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his wishes for further progress and prosperity for the government and people of the UAE. Al Mazrouei wished him success in his duties, stressing his country’s readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his duties.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between the UAE and Iraq and ways to improve them to achieve the interests and aspirations of both nations and peoples.
