UAE Supreme Court Awards Rs 11.5 Crore Compensation to Injured Malayali in Dubai Accident

Dubai: The UAE Supreme Court has ordered a compensation of Rs 11.5 crore to a person from Malappuram who was injured in a car accident in Dubai.

Injured Malayali Shifin of Kummali House in Cooram, Malappuram has been awarded compensation for the accident that took place on March 26, 2022. Shifin used to work in a supermarket in Al Ain.

He was carrying goods on a motorcycle from Bagala when he was hit by a car. Police nabbed a local driver who did not stop after hitting him with the help of CCTV.

Schiffin was on a ventilator for a year and a half. He was brought to Kerala for further treatment after experiencing dizziness when he started moving.
