UAE Launches Bridge Summit to Drive Global Media Innovation


Dubai: The UAE’s National Media Office has introduced the Bridge Summit, a groundbreaking international media initiative designed to examine the shifting dynamics of the industry. Set to take place in Abu Dhabi from December 8 to 10, the summit aims to revolutionize the sector and strengthen its contribution to the global economy.

Bringing together media professionals, industry experts, CEOs, and policymakers from around the world, the event will feature a media production exhibition showcasing the latest innovations in content creation, technology, and digital communication.

The announcement was made by Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al-Hamed, Chairman of the UAE’s National Media Office and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Media Council, during a special event in Washington. He emphasized that the goals of the Bridge Summit are to promote deep discussion, tackle new issues facing the media landscape, and develop long-term industry growth.

Launch of Bridge Foundation
As part of the initiative, Al-Hamed also introduced the Bridge Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering media professionals and elevating industry standards. To encourage creativity and cooperation in global markets, the foundation will offer media companies financial support, research grants, and specialized training programs.

The foundation seeks to establish a more vibrant and responsible media environment that supports societal values and enhances the industry’s worldwide influence, in keeping with the UAE’s ambition to position media as a major force behind sustainable development.

Through these initiatives, the UAE confirms its dedication to advancing technological innovation, elevating the role of media as a catalyst for social and economic advancement, and fostering media quality.
