UAE soldiers killed in arrive at Al Bateen Airport
Military ceremony attended by senior leaders, defense ministry officers, and martyrs' families

The bodies of four UAE soldiers killed in a terrorist attack in Somalia were transported to Al Bateen Airport via a military plane. A military ceremony to receive the martyrs’ bodies occurred at the airport, attended by senior leaders, Ministry of Defence officers, and the families of the fallen soldiers.
The soldiers, including Colonel Mohammed Al Mansouri, Undersecretary 1 Mohammed Al Shamsi, Undersecretary 1 Khalifa Al Balushi, and Corporal Suleiman Al Shehhi, were involved in training and qualifying the Somali Armed Forces under a bilateral agreement between the UAE and the Republic of Somalia.

The Ministry of Defence initially reported the deaths of three soldiers and an officer from the Bahrain Defence Force, with two others injured. Unfortunately, one of the injured individuals later succumbed to his injuries after returning home.
The Ministry of Defence expressed condolences to the soldiers’ families and wished a speedy recovery for all those injured in the attack.
