Rajinikanth Receives UAE’s Golden Visa from Department of Culture and Tourism
Tamil Actor Superstar Rajinikanth received a golden visa from the UAE’s Department of Culture and Tourism. The renowned actor, who was recently in Abu Dhabi, expressed his gratitude towards the UAE government and MA Yusuff Ali, the chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, for the prestigious honour and the warm hospitality he received during his visit.
‘I am grateful’: Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a picture of Rajinikanth receiving his visa, writing, “UAE Culture and Tourism Department grants #GoldenVisa to #Superstar.” Rajinikanth also shared a video with the press saying, “I am deeply honoured to receive the prestigious UAE Golden visa from Abu Dhabi Govt. My heartfelt thanks to the Abu Dhabi govt. and also to my good friend Mr Yusuff Ali, CMD of Lulu Group, for facilitating this visa and for all the support.” This significant gesture marks another highlight in Rajinikanth’s illustrious career, underscoring his global appeal and the respect he commands internationally.
The ceremony saw Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), Government of Abu Dhabi, personally handing over the Golden Visa to Rajinikanth. The event was attended by several dignitaries and was a moment of pride for all present, especially with the presence of Yusuff Ali, who played a crucial role in facilitating this honour.

On Monday, he visited Yusuff’s house and even took a ride in his luxurious Rolls Royce. A video shared by one of the company’s employees captures Rajinikanth looking joyful as he enjoys the ride to Yusuff’s residence. The video shows the two friends engaging in lively conversation, clearly enjoying each other’s company. This visit sparked speculation among fans and media, with many wondering if the meetings hinted at new business ventures or collaborations. However, the announcement of the Golden Visa clarified that the visit was primarily to acknowledge this special recognition, facilitated by Yusuff Ali.
