DHL Express UAE and Advanced Media unite for greener logistics with GoGreen Plus

Emirates’ leading media technology provider teams up with DHL to cut carbon emissions using Sustainable Aviation Fuel

UAE: Advanced Media and DHL Express Partner for Sustainable Logistics with GoGreen Plus

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Advanced Media, a leading provider of media technology solutions in the Middle East, has joined hands with DHL Express UAE to promote sustainability in logistics. The partnership focuses on reducing carbon emissions through DHL’s GoGreen Plus service, which integrates Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) into shipping operations to lower environmental impact.

At Advanced Media’s Dubai offices, Jawad Oazis, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer, DHL Express UAE, and Alaa Al Randisi, General Manager, signed the contract. The collaboration aligns with both companies’ dedication to sustainable business practices and lowering their carbon footprint.

Advanced Media will profit from logistics solutions that use SAF rather of conventional aviation fuel, greatly lowering emissions, thanks to DHL’s GoGreen Plus service. The action establishes a standard for media companies wishing to implement eco-friendly procedures.

“This partnership reflects how businesses can embrace innovative logistics solutions to drive a greener future,” said Jawad Oazis, underlining the importance of sustainability in logistics. With DHL’s GoGreen Plus, Advanced Media is radically reducing its carbon footprint and setting an example for its industry.

“This is a significant milestone in our sustainability journey,” continued Alaa Al Rantisi. In addition to reaffirming our commitment to reducing carbon emissions, our partnership with DHL’s GoGreen Plus aims to encourage other SMEs to adopt comparable environmentally responsible initiatives.

In 2022, DHL launched its GoGreen Plus service with a Scope 3 emissions reduction target, which includes indirect greenhouse gas emissions from the supply chain. Unlike conventional carbon offset schemes, our scheme places a higher priority on reducing direct emissions through SAF, ensuring measurable results. Advanced Media will obtain SGS certification attesting to the emission reductions attained, and all results are independently confirmed.

As part of its broader environmental plan, DHL wants to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. This entails using more SAF, powering its delivery trucks, and running carbon-neutral logistics facilities.

The collaboration between Advanced Media and DHL Express UAE represents a significant turning point in the growth of sustainable logistics in the nation, bolstering the UAE’s aspirations for a more environmentally friendly future and motivating businesses to embrace moral environmental standards.
