Dubai, June 30 (PTI) – Sumbul Iqbal Khan, a renowned actress from Pakistan’s television industry, has been granted the prestigious UAE Golden Visa by officials from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA). This recognition marks a significant milestone in her career and underscores the UAE’s appreciation for her contributions to the entertainment sector.

The announcement was made public by Mohammad Moazzam Qureshi, a prominent Pakistani resident in Dubai known for facilitating golden visas for celebrities. Taking to Instagram, Qureshi shared a series of captivating photographs capturing the moment when Sumbul was presented with the Golden Visa. His accompanying congratulatory message, “Congratulations mabrook @sumbuliqbalkhan,” resonated with fans and followers alike, celebrating her achievement.

Sumbul Iqbal Khan now joins an illustrious cohort of Pakistani celebrities who have received the UAE Golden Visa, highlighting her stature and influence in the entertainment industry. Notable figures such as Fakhr-e-Alam, Javed Sheikh, Wasim Akram, Shoaib Malik, Humayun Saeed, Sana Javed, Umair Jaswal, Junaid Khan, Ayesha Omer, Imran Abbas, Iqra Aziz, Yasir Hussain, Laiba Khan, Maya Ali, Saba Qamar, and Ayeza Khan are also recipients of this prestigious visa.

Introduced by the UAE government in 2019, the Golden Visa initiative aims to attract global talent and professionals by offering long-term residency benefits. Holders of the Golden Visa are granted permission to live, work, and study in the UAE without the need for a national sponsor. They also enjoy full ownership of their businesses on the UAE mainland. The visas are issued for durations of 5 or 10 years and are subject to automatic renewal.
