Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Begins Two-Day Official Visit to India

Abu Dhabi, September 8- Economic and trade relations between UAE and India are getting stronger. Bilateral relations have steadily grown closer in the past 10 years since Prime Minister Modi took office for the first time.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who has been sworn in as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, to visit India. Accepting his invitation, the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince will leave today (Sunday) for a 2-day official visit to India. He is accompanied by Emirati ministers and business dignitaries.

The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, who is coming to Delhi, will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow (Monday). During that time, the two consult on how to improve bilateral cooperation. Later he also meets the President of India Dravupati Murmu.

During this meeting, he visits the Mahatma Gandhi memorial at Rajghat and pays his respects. India’s Ministry of External Affairs said that his visit to India will be a symbol of sharing historically close friendship.
