UAE’s Botim Launches First-Ever Remit Now, Pay Later Service for Expats
The first-of-its-kind service will allow users to send money internationally instantly, but make payments later using the Bottom Ultra app. The Send Now, Pay Later (SNPL) program will support the large expatriate workforce in the UAE and provide them with better financial flexibility.
Users can send money abroad and pay later in manageable installments, providing much-needed relief during financially demanding periods such as month-end. With this, Bottom has become the first fintech in the MENA region to offer such a solution.
“By leveraging our extensive credit infrastructure, we offer users a fast and accessible way to send money,” said Abdullah Abu Sheikh, founder and CEO of Botim, Astra Tech. “This service gives millions of users the flexibility to manage their financial obligations more effectively, while continuing to support their families abroad.”
Botmin’s financial services introduced in 2022 – including international transfers and bill payments – remove the burden of upfront payments.
Launched with Astra Tech’s mission to expand financial inclusion in the region. This follows the acquisition of the finance company license by Quantix, a UAE Central Bank licensed financial services provider. The company offers several credit solutions including SNPL, Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL).
Ahead of the official roll-out, Botim will launch a pre-registration form for its 9 million users, inviting early adopters to benefit from instant remittance transfers and flexible payment terms.
