UAE President to Attend Key Summit Promoting Arab Unity and Regional Cooperation

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, was formally invited by Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to attend the next Arab League Summit in Baghdad. Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid made the invitation during a diplomatic gathering on Saturday at Al-Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Mohammed responded to the invitation and said he would attend the conference on May 17. Emphasizing the importance of the event, it was a key opportunity to promote regional cooperation and Arab unity. The UAE President stressed that the summit would be a significant milestone in advancing joint Arab efforts and promoting unity within the region.

The meeting between the two leaders was attended by diplomatic representatives and senior officials from Iraq and the UAE. The talks focused on fostering greater stability in the region and resolving persistent conflicts diplomatically, and covered a wide range of regional and global topics. Hussein reaffirmed the two countries’ commitment to peaceful and diplomatic solutions, stressing the value of communication and cooperation in addressing the challenges facing the Arab world.
