A significant milestone has been reached in India’s fresh fruit export sector with the recent shipment of the first consignment of MD2 variety pineapples to the United Arab Emirates. In this initial trial shipment, approximately 8.7 metric tons of the highly coveted MD2 pineapples were exported to the UAE.
