India, UAE Boost Cybersecurity Ties at GISEC 2025
Second Indo-UAE Cybersecurity Exchange in Dubai Boosts Bilateral Ties, Innovation, and Cyber Resilience

India and UAE Bolster Cybersecurity Partnership at GISEC Global 2025
The second edition of the Indo-UAE Cybersecurity Exchange, which was hosted in Dubai as part of the GISEC Global 2025 event, was a major step to strengthen cybersecurity collaboration between India and the UAE. In order to address common digital dangers and promote innovation, the exchange, which was led by the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) in partnership with CIO Klub, brought together top cybersecurity specialists, innovators, and decision-makers from both countries.
The event was held in the Dubai World Trade Centre in conjunction with GISEC Global, one of the leading cybersecurity conferences in the world. With over 15 Indian cybersecurity businesses delivering state-of-the-art solutions in threat intelligence, data privacy, application protection, quantum technologies, and Security Operations Centers (SOCs), the India Pavilion was organized by DSCI. The objective was very clear: increase bilateral interaction in the quickly changing cybersecurity scene and create long-lasting collaborations between Indian tech leaders and UAE stakeholders.
B.G. Krishnan, Consul (Economic, Trade, Commerce & Education) at the Indian Consulate in Dubai, emphasized the urgent need for global digital security collaboration, citing rising technological threats and geopolitical instability.“In terms of essential technology, data privacy, and cybersecurity, the world is at a turning moment. The resilience of our digital future will be determined by our actions now,” he stated.
These views were supported by Atul Kumar, Director of DSCI, who said that cybersecurity has emerged as a key component of the expanding India-UAE strategic partnership. “Building a strong and cooperative cyber environment is crucial as both nations progress in their digital transformation journeys. This exchange reinforces our shared commitment to innovation, resilience, and leadership in global cybersecurity.”
The exchange focused on key themes such as cyber resilience, capacity building, and leadership in security innovation. The talks emphasized the necessity for India and the UAE to exchange intelligence and cultivate skills, as well as the significance of proactive frameworks to handle complex challenges.
India’s active involvement and upcoming interactions with regional cybersecurity leaders, as GISEC Global 2025 comes to an end on May 8, highlight its standing as a reliable international partner in digital security. Because to DSCI’s dedication to ongoing communication and cooperation, Indo-UAE cybersecurity cooperation will only strengthen, influencing the region’s future cybersecurity infrastructure.
