HM Sultan Haitham Receives UAE FNC Speaker, Discusses Bilateral Cooperation
Muscat: This morning, at Al Barakah Palace, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq received Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the UAE.
His Majesty conveyed to His Majesty the President of the UAE His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan greetings and best wishes.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the fraternal United Arab Emirates, received his warmest greetings and best wishes from His Majesty the Sultan.
In order to support the national plans and visions of both nations and to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, the meeting reviewed various aspects of cooperation between the two countries, particularly the parliamentary councils and methods to develop the working mechanism within them.
The UAE Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Mohammed bin Naqira Al Taheri, and the Chairman of the Shura Council, His Excellency Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, attended the meeting.
