Grandweld Shipyards to Showcase Cutting-Edge Vessel Innovation at ‘Make It In The Emirates Forum 2025’

Grandweld Shipyards, a well-known brand in the UAE’s marine industry with more than 40 years of experience, will be attending the Make It In The Emirates Forum 2025, which will be held at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, from May 19 to 22.The company will showcase its cutting-edge shipbuilding and repair capabilities, while focusing on sustainability, innovation and alignment with the UAE’s long-standing national policy.

Grandveld hopes to capitalize on the UAE’s shipbuilding industry, which is projected to reach US$423.01 million in 2025 and grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.47% by 2029, to help it achieve its goal of becoming a major global maritime hub. The maritime and commercial ship repair sector in the UAE is expected to reach a valuation of US$802.3 million by 2031.

Grandveld will showcase a wide range of ship solutions designed for port and harbor services, autonomous maritime technology, oil and gas operations, military and naval applications, passenger transport and personnel transfers at the forum. The business will show how, from ship conversion to vessel design, it is incorporating sustainability and technological innovation into every facet of its operations.
