Emirates Unveils Designer Pajamas for Business Class Flyer

Emirates Invests in Elevated Inflight Experience with New Loungewear

Emirates Airlines is set to elevate the in-flight experience for Business Class passengers on long-haul flights starting from February. In a bid to provide ultimate comfort and style, the airline will offer complimentary luxury pajamas designed in-house. These exclusive pajamas, crafted after more than a year of meticulous design, draw inspiration from contemporary athleisure trends.

Pajamas- Lightweight, breathable, and stylish

The loungewear set comprises a relaxed cowl-neck top featuring a front pocket, paired with drawstring pants made from pale blue jersey knit with botanic fibers. Described as lightweight, breathable, and stretchy, the pajamas boast an elegant drape suitable for various body types. The amenities kit includes a matching eye mask and slippers to enhance the overall in-flight experience.

Emirates emphasizes that these pajamas are not only perfect for a restful sleep but are also ideal for socializing in the A380’s onboard lounge. Remarkably, the airline suggests passengers can confidently wear the loungewear even during airport transits and, interestingly, after landing.

Emirates to Distribute Loungewear to Business Class on Long-Haul Flights

The airline is encouraging passengers to continue using the set at home, highlighting their design for comfort, style, and reusability. The distribution of these exclusive pajamas will occur during boarding for Business Class passengers on flights lasting over nine hours, regardless of the departure time. The available sizes are small/medium and large/extra-large.

For shorter flights exceeding two and a half hours, Business Class passengers will receive the slippers and eye mask. The loungewear was tested successfully earlier on flights between Dubai (DXB), New York (JFK), and Boston (BOS).

This initiative is part of Emirates’ ongoing investment to enhance the customer experience, reflecting the airline’s commitment to spending $2 billion in recent years on various improvements. From revamped cabin interiors to an onboard bar and overhauled menus, Emirates aims to impress passengers across all classes. Last year, the airline introduced Bulgari amenity kits, featuring luxury skincare products, fragrances, and sustainable mirrors for First and Business Class passengers. In 2024, Emirates is partnering with Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne to further enhance cabin crew training in attentiveness to passenger needs.
