Dubai: Two Indian Expats Celebrate Dh150,000 Wins in Big Ticket Abu Dhabi Draw
Dubai: Two longtime Indian residents of the UAE, both living in Dubai for nearly two decades, have won Dh150,000 each in Big Ticket Abu Dhabi’s weekly e-draw, adding an exciting new chapter to their journeys.
A 43-year-old engineer from Kerala, Joji Isaac has lived in Dubai since 2007. Isaac has been a regular Big Ticket participant since 2011. He frequently purchased tickets on his own or along with five other pals. His persistence paid off with this win.

“Absolutely fantastic — I’m over the moon!” Isac exclaimed, celebrating his triumph. He also shared a message of hope for others still waiting for their moment, saying, “Stay positive. Everyone has their day.”
Meanwhile, Packeer Ahamed Maraikhan, 38, who lives in Satwa and works in plant operations, also struck gold. Maraikhan has been trying his luck for the past four to five years, purchasing tickets with a friend. After completing a long night shift, he noticed missed calls while preparing for prayer — and discovered he had become one of the lucky winners.
“I had just returned home when I missed the first two calls. It was a wonderful surprise,” said Maraikhan, who plans to use his prize money to support his family.
Big Ticket’s weekly e-draw gives five winners Dh150,000 each, and every ticket purchased during April qualifies for these weekly chances. For Isac and Maraikhan, years of patience and faith have finally turned into a joyful, life-changing reward.
