Dubai Municipality Allocates Public Beaches Exclusively for Families During Eid Al Fitr

Dubai Municipality has announced that four popular public beaches—Jumeirah Beach 2, Jumeirah Beach 3, Umm Suqeim 1, and Umm Suqeim 2—will be reserved exclusively for families during the Eid Al Fitr holiday. The initiative is part of a broader effort to improve the quality of life for residents and visitors by providing a comfortable, family-friendly environment at the emirate’s popular beaches, during one of the busiest holiday periods of the year.

Enhancing the beach experience for families

During the holidays, the number of visitors to Dubai’s beaches increases significantly, requiring crowd management. By designating special beaches for families, while maintaining safety and order, the municipality believes it can provide a more relaxing and enjoyable experience. There will be designated areas for families to relax and celebrate Eid without crowds, so that they can fully enjoy Dubai’s beautiful beaches in a safe environment.

Robust Safety Measures and On-Site Monitoring

To provide a high level of safety and security, the Dubai Municipality has deployed a fully prepared rescue squad of 126 qualified personnel. These professionals will be stationed around the selected family beaches, aided by cutting-edge rescue equipment and logistics to respond to situations quickly.

In addition, a dedicated field supervision team of ten qualified professionals will be in charge of crowd control, monitoring traffic in beach parking lots and ensuring smooth operations. These measures will help maintain order and provide a safe, hassle-free environment for families.
