World Governments Summit 2025 Kicks Off with Day Zero in Dubai

Dubai, UAE – Day Zero of the World Governments Summit 2025 formally kicks off four days of talks aimed at influencing governments’ futures on Monday, February 10. The summit, which is being held in Dubai with the subject “Shaping Future Governments,” has a record number of international participants, including more than 300 speakers from around the world, 140 government delegations, and more than 30 heads of state.

Day Zero will include significant forums like the 9th Arab Financial Forum, which will concentrate on fiscal policy, debt management, and economic reforms, in addition to the Arab Youth Leaders Summit and the Young Arab Leaders Forum. These conferences will bring together prominent politicians, up-and-coming leaders, and specialists to talk about important issues like regional stability, leadership development, and economic growth.

The Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), IMF, and UAE Ministry of Finance will collaborate to organise the Arab Fiscal Forum, which will focus on developing efficient fiscal policies to tackle debt issues and promote long-term economic expansion. IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs Mohamed Al Hussaini will be among the forum’s prominent speakers.

The Arab Youth Leaders Summit will provide a platform for collaboration between young people and policymakers, fostering the development of future leaders and encouraging their engagement in policymaking. However, with a focus on preparing young people for leadership roles, the Young Arab Leaders Forum will address topics including innovation, entrepreneurship and the future of the Arab world.
