Abu Dhabi Named Safest City in the World for Eighth Consecutive Year
Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, has been named the safest city in the world for the eighth consecutive year. The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has shared a report on the latest Global Liveability Index and Numbio’s global rankings for the year 2024. Abu Dhabi continues to top global standards for safety, scoring an impressive 88.2 points on Nambiov’s safety index. The city’s crime index mark of 11.8 is very low, which shows its useful functions in maintaining public safety and ensuring the well-being of its residents.
Abu Dhabi is known for its excellent health and education system, which greatly enhances its living experience. With 67 hospitals and 3,323 health facilities including 1,068 medicines and a strong network of 12,922 licensed doctors, Abu Dhabi’s health insurance is world-class. This extensive health facility plays an important role in the city’s high standard of living.
The development of the city based on security and livelihoods exemplifies the progress of other Valakuda cities. Kuwait City, Doha and Bahrain have also moved up in standards, with Dubai making notable improvements.
