Fast Boat Reports Irregular Behavior 20nm East of UAE

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency reported on Sunday that it received information regarding a small, swiftly moving boat exhibiting unusual behavior approximately 20 nautical miles to the east of the UAE’s port city of Khor Fakkan, as it approached the Gulf of Oman from the northeast.

According to UKMTO, the fast boat was characterized by its white color and open-top design, propelled by a lone outboard motor. Notably, the two occupants aboard the vessel were attired in military-style uniforms resembling camouflage. The agency’s notification underscores the peculiar nature of the boat’s actions and its proximity to the strategically significant Gulf of Oman region.
