Dubai sends additional medical aid to support Gaza
25th relief flight from Dubai delivers essential medical aid to support over 250,000 in Gaza

Dubai Launches Major Humanitarian Airlift with 57 Metric Tonnes of Medical Supplies for Gaza
Dubai has launched its continued commitment to emergency relief efforts in the region by initiating yet another major humanitarian airlift to aid Gaza.
Almost 57 metric tonnes of vital medical supplies, worth more than AED 4.3 million, were sent out by Dubai Humanitarian in its most recent expedition. These supplies, which include trauma care and psychological treatment resources, are set to benefit more than 250,000 individuals in Gaza. The shipment was delivered to El Arish Airport in Egypt on April 23 aboard a Dubai Air Wing cargo aircraft, marking the 25th relief flight coordinated by Dubai Humanitarian in response to the crisis.
The aid effort was led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. The World Health Organization (WHO) provided medical supplies, which will be stored in El Arish and sent to Gaza once entry is permitted.
To help meet urgent humanitarian needs in Gaza, the Dubai Humanitarian Organization has organized four dedicated airlifts since January 2025, bringing nearly 256 metric tons of WHO medical supplies.
