UAE Announces January 1, 2025, as Public Holiday for Federal Employees
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has officially announced Wednesday, January 1, 2025, as a public holiday for all federal government employees.
Employees of federal government agencies will therefore be off on this day in observance of the New Year. Additionally, the circular stated that on Thursday, January 2, 2025, regular government functions would resume.
