UAE President Meets Russian Security Council Secretary to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Abu Dhabi [UAE], October 29: President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Russian Federation Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu in Abu Dhabi today.

During the meeting at Qasr Al Shati, Shoigu discussed current efforts and joint efforts to improve cooperation between the two countries, following his recent official visit to Russia.

The Secretary of the Russian Security Council conveyed President Vladimir Putin’s greetings to him and his hope for continued development in UAE-Russia relations. He conveyed his own greetings and best wishes to President Putin, underscoring mutual commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries in various fields.

The two sides also exchanged views on several regional and international issues.

The meeting was attended by Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Ali Bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security; and Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Russian Federation.
