19-Year-Old Shaun D’Souza from Udupi Dies of Heatstroke in UAE

19-year-old Shaun D’Souza from Vittalwadi in Gundapur taluk of Udupi tragically died of heatstroke in the United Arab Emirates.

Shaun, the beloved son of Elias Cyril D’Souza and Pramila D’Souza of Moodbidri Hozapetu, did his college education in the United Arab Emirates.

He collapsed from heatstroke at a hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, about 115 km from Dubai. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, Shawn breathed his last on Sunday, September
15.

He is predeceased by his parents and two siblings.The family, who lived in the United Arab Emirates close to St. Mary’s Church, is inconsolable over a profound loss. Shaun’s mother Pramila is an accountant, while his father Elias is a manager at a private firm.

During this difficult moment, the local community has joined together to support and send their condolences.
