UAE’s 1 Billion Followers Summit Boosts Content Creation Economy
Dubai [UAE], January 12: The 1 Billion Followers Summit organizing committee has highlighted the summit’s enormously beneficial effects on the world economy and the prospects for investment in the content creation industry. It is currently valued at about $250 billion, and in the upcoming years, it is anticipated to reach $440 million.
Themed “Content for Good”, the summit will take place from 11 to 13 January 2025 in the United Arab Emirates at venues across Dubai including the Museum of the Future, DIFC and Emirates Towers. Bringing together 420 speakers, 125 CEOs, over 15,000 content creators, influencers and global experts, the third edition of this historic event underscores its importance in determining the future of the sector.
According to committee member Youssef Al Baqishi, who spoke to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the UAE wants to lead the content production sector, which is predicted to reach US$440 billion in the upcoming years. The importance of the summit in increasing investment in this promising economy is further supported by this.
He added that one of the main objectives of the summit is to attract talent and companies operating in the content creation sector to be part of the investment landscape in the UAE.
He pointed out that the UAE offers a conducive environment for investment due to the diverse business opportunities and distinguished services offered across the country.
