UAE Sends Monkeypox Vaccines to Five African Countries
The United Arab Emirates has sent monkeypox vaccines to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire and Cameroon.
This is part of the country’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support other countries in the face of challenges and crises, in line with the directives of President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Sheikh Shakbood bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, “highlights the UAE’s significant importance in promoting global humanitarian and health efforts and affirms the country’s firm commitment to helping other countries during crises and disasters.”
Further, “This initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian values as part of its continued commitment to reach out and help affected communities around the world.”
