UAE: Rain Expected in Abu Dhabi Until Oct 9; Drivers Urged to Stay Cautious
Authorities urge caution as rain and strong winds are expected across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain

Abu Dhabi and Surrounding Areas to Experience Rainfall from October 7-9
Several areas of Abu Dhabi will witness rain of varying intensity from Monday, October 7 to Wednesday, October 9, the media office said. Officials informed that people should be cautious during weather changes.
According to a report by the National Center of Meteorology, the rainfall over the country in the next few days will be a surface depression. There are also relatively cold air masses at higher levels.
Some parts of the UAE received fairly heavy rain on Sunday (October 6). Hail was observed in Murbad and Maidaq areas of Fujairah. The Met department has also issued an orange alert for the formation of convective clouds associated with rain and the alert will last till 8 pm on the day.
In Abu Dhabi’s forecast, the Abu Dhabi Authority said there is a chance of light to moderate rain, especially in the interior of the capital, along with fresh winds over the next few days.
Light, moderate and heavy rainfall can be expected in different areas of Al Ain during the same period.
The authority said in a social media post on Sunday evening that Al Dhafra is expected to experience light to moderate rain in various areas and fresh strong winds.
Meanwhile, the authority has requested the public to follow the revised speed limit and avoid traveling to the valleys. They were asked to carry first aid kits and alternative light sources.
