UAE President and US National Security Adviser Discuss Strategic Ties and Regional Issues

Abu Dhabi [UAE], October 5: President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan had a telephone conversation with US National Security Adviser Jack Sullivan during which they discussed the strategic relationship between the UAE and the US and ways to strengthen it. Various sectors, especially in development.

They reaffirmed their mutual commitment to enhance cooperation in artificial intelligence in light of the outcome of His Highness’s recent historic visit to the US and welcomed the designation of the UAE as a “Key Security Partner” of the US.

During the phone call, the two sides addressed several regional and international issues of common interest, paying special attention to recent developments in the Middle East, particularly the situation in Gaza and Lebanon.

They underscored the importance of pursuing political solutions to the region’s crises and preventing further escalation of conflicts.

They also highlighted the importance of continuing humanitarian aid to Gaza, Lebanon and Sudan.
