UAE Ministry of Education Releases Guide for Emirati Education Day 2025

Abu Dhabi [UAE], February 21: The UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) has released the Emirati Education Day Celebration Guide, a unified reference framework for all events and activities to be held in all schools on February 28, 2025.

The ministry’s guide defines Emirati Education Day as a national event to highlight the role of education in the country’s progress and showcase efforts to advance the education system in line with global standards.

Key goals are outlined, such as highlighting the importance of education for the development of the country, celebrating educational accomplishments across the country, recognizing exceptional educators and support personnel, inspiring students, fostering community partnerships, and enhancing the role of society in aiding the education sector.

Teachers, students and parents will all participate in the celebration, which will take place from February 24–28, 2025, ensuring that education remains uninterrupted.

For this celebration, the Ministry has proposed activities that focus on the history of education in the UAE, important turning points and its impact on the development of individuals and society.

These initiatives aim to give pupils a stronger sense of national identity while showcasing the significant achievements of the education sector.

The standards include rules and regulations for event planning that ensure educational themes are included and that activities are suitable for different student age groups and skill levels.
The instructions also stress the importance of using regular school event security measures, conducting activities under teacher supervision, and according to current school celebration norms.

The initiative reflects the Ministry’s commitment to fostering a knowledge-based society and positioning education as a cornerstone of national development.
