UAE-India flights remain unaffected despite heavy rainfall
Despite severe weather in India, UAE airlines maintain normal flight operations

UAE-India Flights Continue Smoothly Despite Weather Disruptions in India
Flights between the UAE and India are still operating normally, even though severe pre-monsoon rains have disrupted aircraft operations at Delhi airport and swept across areas of India. Both local and international planes coming in and leaving New Delhi have been delayed and diverted in recent days due to unfavorable weather conditions. Airlines based in the United Arab Emirates, such as flydubai, Etihad Airways, and Emirates, have stated that their operations are still unaffected.
Spokespersons from the airlines stated that the inclement weather in India has not had a direct impact on their schedules, and flights to and from Indian cities are running as planned.
With heavy rainfall expected through May 27, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange signal for portions of Bengaluru. Pre-monsoon showers have had a major impact on important cities like Bengaluru, Goa, Pune, and Delhi. The rains have killed at least six people, according to Indian media reports, three in Tamil Nadu and three in Bengaluru as a result of rain-related accidents.
The UAE-India aviation corridor is steady, with no significant delays or cancellations recorded from UAE carriers, despite the fact that weather-related disruptions have affected a number of domestic flight routes within India.
