Abu Dhabi Police Issue Visitor Guidelines for BAPS Hindu Mandir During Eid Holidays

Abu Dhabi: With a massive influx of devotees expected at the BAPS Hindu Mandir during the Eid Al Fitr holidays, Abu Dhabi Police and temple authorities have announced essential visitor guidelines to ensure a smooth and organized experience.

Mandatory Pre-Registration for Entry

To effectively manage the large crowds, all guests are required to book in advance of their visit via the “Mandir Abu Dhabi” app or website. Due to capacity constraints, walk-in guests who have not pre-registered may not be allowed to enter.
For a seamless experience, registered visitors are required to stay within their allotted time slot.

Handling Large Crowds and Improving Facilities

Over 2.2 million people have visited the Mandir since it opened, demonstrating its immense spiritual and cultural value. Over 60,000 devotees attempted to visit during the 2024 Eid weekend, which made crowd control difficult.
For this year’s festivities, authorities have implemented a formal booking system in an effort to prevent similar issues.

To improve visitor convenience, the Mandir has eliminated the need for remote parking by expanding on-site parking options. Waiting rooms with shade have also been added to help mitigate the heat.
