Empowering UAE's workforce with AI skills and advancing automation across government services through a strategic partnership

UAE AI Office Joins Forces with UiPath to Accelerate National AI Vision
The UAE Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications has formed a strategic partnership with UiPath, a global leader in enterprise automation and AI. The collaboration will focus on equipping UAE workers with essential AI and automation skills, with a focus on implementing AI-powered automation across government organizations.
Advancing Agentic Automation
The UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, Omar Sultan Al Olama, and Daniel Dines, CEO and Founder of UiPath, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU outlines a shared commitment to promoting agentic automation—a revolutionary strategy that uses AI to improve automated processes. The initiative aims to streamline services, create a tech-savvy workforce, and integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into government operations.
Strategic Goals and Workforce Empowerment
In order to accomplish the UAE’s lofty AI goals, collaborations with tech leaders like UiPath are essential, according to Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud, director of the UAE AI Office. The partnership will make it possible for government agencies to implement cutting-edge AI applications, increasing operational effectiveness and preparing government workers for AI-driven positions.
“The UAE’s proactive approach to integrating AI into public services showcases its dedication to unlocking economic, educational, and social opportunities for its citizens,” said Zakaria Haltout, Area Vice President for the Middle East and Africa at UiPath, who expressed excitement about supporting the UAE’s ambitious vision.
Training and Upskilling Initiatives
Together, UiPath and the UAE AI Office will create training courses to improve the automation and AI knowledge of as many as 100 government workers and students. Participants will be able to earn UiPath Certified certifications thanks to the help of UiPath’s Business Automation Platform and UiPath Academy.
The training framework will extend to Coders HQ, part of the National Programme for Coders Initiatives, where coders can develop critical AI and automation skills. By fostering technical expertise, this initiative ensures that the UAE’s workforce is equipped to meet the demands of an increasingly automated world.
Pilot Projects and Roadmap Development
The partnership will focus on launching pilot projects to explore the capabilities of UiPath’s automation solutions in real-world applications. UiPath-led workshops and awareness campaigns will demonstrate how AI-powered automation can improve operational efficiency and transform public services.
In addition, a comprehensive roadmap will be developed to help government-backed organizations and startups integrate AI and automation technologies into their operations.
A Bold Step Toward AI Leadership
The UAE’s partnership with UiPath demonstrates its dedication to adopting cutting-edge technology to promote innovation, economic expansion, and social progress. By empowering its workers and integrating AI into public services, the country is leading the world in using AI to advance its interests.
