Etihad Airways Launches New Abu Dhabi to Jaipur Flight Route, Expanding Indian Network

Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has recently launched an important new flight route connecting Zayed International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi to Jaipur (JAI), India. This marks a significant expansion for Etihad, as Jaipur becomes the airline’s 11th destination within India.

The inaugural flight was celebrated with a special welcome ceremony held at Jaipur airport on Wednesday, June 19. This event underscores Etihad’s strategic commitment to enhancing connectivity between India’s cultural treasures and global destinations via Abu Dhabi.

The newly launched service offers travelers four weekly nonstop flights between Abu Dhabi and Jaipur. This direct route not only facilitates convenient travel options for passengers from Jaipur to Abu Dhabi but also provides seamless connections to Etihad’s extensive global network. It caters to the increasing demand for travel from Rajasthan, serving both leisure and business travelers alike.

Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, expressed his excitement about the new route, stating, “With the resurgence of outbound travel from India, we are thrilled to start four weekly flights to Jaipur, a significant cultural and commercial center. By establishing this crucial air link with Rajasthan, we aim to meet the increasing demand from travelers in and around the region, providing them with convenient access to Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and seamless connectivity to our extensive global network, while delivering a remarkable flying experience.”

Etihad Airways has been proactive in expanding its footprint in the Indian market. Earlier in the year, on January 1, the airline introduced two additional routes from Abu Dhabi to Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, further enhancing its connectivity across India. This expansion strategy reflects Etihad’s commitment to serving the growing travel demand between India and the UAE, reinforcing its role as a preferred carrier for travelers seeking efficient and comfortable air travel experiences.
