India and UAE Strengthen Cybersecurity Alliance at GISEC Global 2025

India and the United Arab Emirates have taken a major step forward in bolstering their digital defense partnership with the successful hosting of the second Indo-UAE Cybersecurity Exchange in Dubai.
Organized by the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) in collaboration with CIO Klub, the event ran alongside GISEC Global 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, creating a vibrant platform for bilateral dialogue and strategic cooperation in cybersecurity.

The India Pavilion, established by DSCI at the event, showcased cutting-edge technologies from more than 15 Indian cybersecurity companies. These companies provided an overview of India’s robust digital capabilities by showcasing advancements in threat intelligence, data protection, application security, quantum technology and cutting-edge security operations. The aim is to establish new alliances and create synergies between Indian solution providers and UAE-based businesses and institutions.

P.G. Krishnan, Ambassador (Economics, Trade, Commerce and Education) at the Consulate General of India in Dubai, spoke at the event and underlined the urgent need for improved digital security globally. He identified three key elements that are changing the digital risk landscape and impacting economies, society and critical infrastructure around the world: the complexity of cyber threats, the pace of technological advancement and heightened geopolitical tensions.

Atul Kumar, Director, DSCI, echoed these views, pointing out that cybersecurity has emerged as a key area of strategic cooperation between the UAE and India. He stressed the benefits of working more closely together on digital projects as both countries increasingly rely on secure and reliable digital technologies to facilitate rapid digitization.

The exchange provided a forum for crucial conversations on cybersecurity leadership, innovative solutions, and creating digital ecosystems that are prepared for the future in addition to displaying technical skills. DSCI reiterated its dedication to working with the UAE in order to forge enduring bonds and improve cyber resilience in the area.

India’s significant involvement in GISEC Global 2025 highlights the country’s expanding impact in the global cybersecurity arena. In the face of new digital challenges, the three-day gathering, which ends on May 8, remains a driving force for global collaboration.
