Dubai: WIT Women’s Organization Hosts ‘Iraivi-2’ Awards Ceremony and Iftar Celebration

WIT Women’s Organisation in Dubai hosted the prestigious “Iravi-2” Awards Ceremony as part of a lavish celebration to celebrate the achievements of women on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The event, held at the Crowne Plaza Star Hotel, Dubai, honoured and celebrated exceptional women from various fields in the UAE. An Iftar dinner was also organised which brought together prominent figures from various fields.

Along with other key executives, WIT Women’s Organisation President Merlin presided over the function. The highlight of the evening was VJ Anjana, a popular television personality well known for her association with Sun TV and Sun Music. Her captivating presence captivated the audience.

Esteemed Guests and Honorees

Prominent personalities from the United Arab Emirates, such as Bouchra Isabelle from Ferticlinic and Dr. Salma Khan, participated in the ceremony. Kamal KL, the Chief Director of Captain TV, and Najim Marikka, the Gulf Bureau Chief of Dina Kural Tamil National Daily and the Associate Editor of Vanakkam Bharatham Weekly Magazine, were among the prominent guests who represented the media community.

The Iftar gathering offered a platform to recognize women who have made exceptional achievements to their fields while also encouraging unity and cultural harmony.
