President Sheikh Mohamed Urges End to Regional Conflict in Talks with Qatari PM
Leaders Emphasize Cease-Fire, Regional Stability, and Strengthening Bilateral Ties Amid Ongoing Gaza and Lebanon Violence

President Sheikh Mohamed and Qatari PM Discuss Ending Middle East Conflict in Abu Dhabi
President Sheikh Mohammed held talks with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, focusing on efforts to end the deadly conflict in the Middle East.
Both leaders stressed the importance of a cease-fire and an end to violence as Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon continue. State news agency WAM reported that they stressed the value of preventing further escalation of the fighting in order to promote regional security and stability.
Sheikh Mohammed and the Qatari Prime Minister discussed the long-standing ties between the two countries and ways of further cooperation at the talks held in Qasr Al Shati.
The President extended his greetings to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim and called for prosperity and development in the Gulf nation. Sheikh Mohammed shared similar sentiments on behalf of the Amir.
The meeting was attended by a number of ministers and senior officials including the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed; Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The visiting delegation of the Qatari Prime Minister included the Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and several senior officials.
Sheikh Mohammed was greeted by Sheikh Tahnoon upon his arrival at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi.
