Jobs in Saudi Arabia: NGHC Launches Recruitment Drive for World’s Largest Green Hydrogen Plant
NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC), the company building the world’s largest green hydrogen plant in Oxagon, northwest of NEOM, Saudi Arabia, recently announced a major recruitment drive for its construction and operational phases.
NGHC Recruitment Drive Details
As construction of the green hydrogen plant continues on schedule, the initiative aims to build a dedicated and skilled team across functions including corporate, EHSS, risk, operations, maintenance, finance, IT and cyber security.
To help with these efforts, NGHC recently hosted its first-ever two-day career fair, which attracted over 9,000 submissions and demonstrated the seriousness and dedication of candidates to the program.
“NGHC’s efforts align with the environmental and economic diversification objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. We are assembling the brightest minds in Saudi Arabia and beyond to form a team capable of delivering and commissioning the biggest green hydrogen plant globally, paving the way for a sustainable and clean energy future.
“We are dedicated to collaborating with the nation’s universities to inspire youth to engage in our fascinating sector,” NGHC CEO Wesam Alkamdi stressed, underscoring the significance of the recruiting campaign for the growth of NGHC.
NGHC is still dedicated to bringing in top people from across the world to enhance its offerings. This hiring initiative demonstrates the company’s dedication to developing a diverse workforce.
Sustainable development objectives and green hydrogen
The company’s goals and objectives also support the worldwide energy trends that are shifting towards sustainable green hydrogen, which is essential for lowering carbon emissions.
When fully operational, the green hydrogen plant, an equal joint venture between ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM, would create 600 tonnes of the carbon-free fuel per day. It is scheduled for completion in 2026. Five million tonnes of CO2 annually.
Green hydrogen is transported in the form of green ammonia by 30-year-old off-taker air products and then used in demanding sectors, including heavy industry and transportation.
