On April 22, 2024, Babu suffered a severe heart attack, which necessitated urgent medical attention.

Upon experiencing the cardiac event, Babu was rushed to Cleveland Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The hospital, known for its advanced medical facilities, admitted him in critical condition. His situation was dire, and immediate intervention was crucial to stabilize his condition and facilitate his return to India for further treatment.

Upon receiving notification from the hospital about Babu’s critical condition, the Indian Embassy took swift action. Embassy officials promptly visited Cleveland Hospital to assess the situation firsthand. They engaged with Babu, his family members, attending physicians, and hospital administrators to understand the full extent of his medical needs and the necessary steps for repatriation.

This included retrieving Babu’s passport from his employer and completing all required documentation for his return to India.
