Flying Home for Bakrid? Air Arabia Unveils Eid Al Adha Travel Discounts
Limited-time travel offer valid until June 2 with fares starting from Dh299 to India; holiday surge boosts bookings

Air Arabia Launches Special Eid Al Adha Holiday Deals for UAE Travellers, Including Low-Cost Flights to India
With the UAE announcing a four-day public holiday for Eid Al Adha in June, Indian expats and other residents are gearing up for extended travel plans. In response to the anticipated surge in demand, budget carrier Air Arabia has unveiled special discounted fares to a variety of destinations, including popular routes to India.
According to Gulf News, the limited-time offer includes one-way tickets starting as low as Dh299 to India, which is approximately ₹6,926. Other destinations covered in the deal include Armenia, Egypt, Oman, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Bahrain, and Kuwait. For example, fares start at Dh129 to Oman and Dh149 to Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
To take advantage of the special pricing, travellers must book their tickets by June 2, with the travel window extending from June 1 to September 30. The offer, which is still available for seven more days, is anticipated to generate a lot of interest from people organizing summer holidays or festive getaways.
Travel reservations have already significantly increased as a result of the announcement. Smart Travel’s Safer Mohammed told Khaleej Times that their company has witnessed an increase in inquiries. “A lot of people are now choosing destinations with visa-free access, especially CIS countries,” he noted.
Beyond Air Arabia, other airlines such as flydubai, Emirates, and Etihad are also known to release attractive fare promotions around major holidays like Eid Al Adha, catering to the surge in holiday travellers.
Although Air Arabia offers affordable options, other airlines continue to charge higher general tickets to India. For example, flights to Mumbai cost Dh1,184, while tickets to New Delhi start at about Dh1,146. At Dh1,787, the fares to Bengaluru are among the most expensive.
These promotional offers are anticipated to be highly popular as the holiday draws near, particularly among Indian expats hoping to spend a joyous vacation back home or reconnect with family.
