Dubai RTA Announces Eid Al Fitr Public Transport and Service Timings

The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued the operation schedule for various services for the Eid Al Fitr holiday 2025 (1446H). The holiday will run from Saturday, March 29 to Tuesday, April 2, with regular services resumed on Wednesday, April 3.

Several services, including Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public transport, marine transport, and vehicle testing centres, will experience schedule modifications. Vehicle Testing Centres will remain closed from 1 to 3 Shawwal and will resume operations on 4 Shawwal. Customer Happiness Centres will be closed for the same period. However, Smart Customer Happiness Centres at locations such as Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and the RTA Headquarters will continue offering 24/7 services as usual.

Dubai Metro (Red & Green Lines) will operate on March 29 from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day), on March 30 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day), and from March 31 to April 2 from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day). Dubai Tram will run from March 29 to 31 from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day) and on March 30 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day).

Public buses, including Dubai Bus and Hatta Bus, will follow a revised schedule. For exact details, passengers are advised to check the S’hail app or visit RTA’s official website. Marine transport services, including Water Taxi, Dubai Ferry, traditional Abra, and electric heritage Abra, will also operate with adjusted schedules. Bus Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will be temporarily suspended from the afternoon of 28 Ramadan until 3 Shawwal. Commuters can instead use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi. Route E102 will also remain suspended during this period.

All public parking zones will be free from 1 to 3 Shawwal, except for multi-level parking facilities. Normal paid parking enforcement will resume on 4 Shawwal.

For the most recent schedules and more information, visit RTA’s website or use the S’hail app. These changes seek to provide a seamless and efficient public transportation experience for Dubai residents and visitors during the Eid celebrations.
