ROX Motor partnership with W Motors to produce NEVs in Abu Dhabi

Luxury new energy vehicle (NEV) producer ROX Motor, a well-known worldwide brand, has announced a major strategic alliance with W Motors, the leading high-performance vehicle manufacturer in the United Arab Emirates. This partnership intends to localize the manufacturing and assembly of ROX Motor’s automobiles in the United Arab Emirates, which would be a revolutionary step toward bolstering the automotive manufacturing industry in the area and furthering the UAE’s goals for sustainability and industrial development.

Formally signed at the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2025 event, the partnership marks a significant turning point as ROX Motor is ready to produce its flagship model, the ROX 01, at W Motors’ recently opened Abu Dhabi production facility. With this move, ROX Motors will assemble its vehicles outside of China for the first time, indicating a strategic change towards regional adaptability and enhancing market resilience in the Middle East.

In addition to increasing domestic auto manufacturing, this partnership helps important national programs including Industry 4.0, Operation 300 billion, and the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 targets. Through strategic relationships centered on advanced technology development in the United Arab Emirates, ROX Motor is expanding its innovation agenda in addition to manufacturing. One such partnership is with Enercap, which aims to improve efficiency and performance both domestically and globally by advancing high-performance battery cell technology across ROX’s vehicle lineup.

Further strengthening its local supply chain, ROX Motor has entered an R&D partnership with Borouge, a leading petrochemical company. The goal of this partnership is to develop advanced polyolefin materials suitable for automotive applications.
