Jumeirah Group, a luxury hospitality company and member of Dubai Holding, has proudly unveiled the inauguration of its premier hotel in Saudi Arabia.
Situated in the heart of Jabal Omar and just a stone’s throw away from the Great Mosque of Makkah, Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah marks a significant stride in the company’s regional and international expansion efforts.
This exquisite hotel, a component of the second phase of the Jabal Omar project envisioned by Fosters + Partners architects, is designed to provide guests with an array of world-class amenities amidst a serene ambiance.
Boasting 1,121 rooms, suites, and residences, Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah offers visitors a tranquil retreat during their pilgrimage or visit to the holy city of Makkah.
Dining at the hotel is a culinary journey with eight distinctive destinations currently available, including the Mediterranean gem Patras and a lobby lounge serving specialty teas and delectable baked goods. Soon, guests can anticipate an additional six unique dining options, each presenting a diverse range of culinary experiences from regional Arabesque to Indo-Pakistani cuisine.
For those seeking event facilities, the property features three meeting rooms and event spaces accommodating between 10 to 70 people, ideal for gatherings of various sizes and purposes.
Katerina Giannouka, the Chief Executive Officer of Jumeirah Group, expressed pride in launching the first Jumeirah hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the strategic partnership with Jabal Omar Development Company and the commitment to deliver exceptional service synonymous with the Jumeirah brand.
With 507 guest rooms and elegant suites across two high-rise towers, Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah offers breathtaking views of the city and the Great Mosque. An additional 526 rooms and suites will be gradually added across two more contemporary towers, ensuring seamless access through express elevators.
In an effort to enhance the luxury experience, the hotel features 88 spacious residences located across the podium of the four towers, each equipped with generous terraces offering panoramic views of the Great Mosque of Makkah, allowing guests to witness group prayers from the comfort of their accommodations.
The newly appointed General Manager, Rizwan Shaikh, brings over two decades of luxury hospitality expertise from India, Singapore, and the Kingdom, further solidifying Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah’s commitment to excellence in guest service and satisfaction.
