The agreement, signed between the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (“MODON”) and South Korea’s GL Rapha Holding Company, targets the allocation of 51,000 square meters of industrial land in Sudair City, a venture valued at SR750 million.

This milestone came to fruition during a pivotal meeting between Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Khorayef, and South Korea’s Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy, Lee Chang-yang. Al-Khorayef’s official visit to Seoul facilitated discussions on bolstering industrial cooperation and exploring mutual interests between the two nations.

The conversation touched upon advancements in joint projects and agreements while exploring promising investment prospects across diverse industrial sectors. Both parties emphasized the potential for enhanced trade exchange and the development of non-oil exports as pivotal avenues for growth.

The meeting underscored the robust bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and South Korea. Mutual visits were identified as crucial catalysts for propelling collaborative efforts forward, particularly in the realms of mining and industry. This marks a significant step toward forging new horizons in the alliance between these two nations.
