Telangana Man Jailed in UAE Over Misused Bank Account, Family Seeks Government Help

Mallarapu Madhukar, a 27-year-old Telangana man, was imprisoned in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, on allegations of financial account abuse by unidentified individuals. He is unable to return to India because of the court-imposed travel ban brought on by the legal issues.

In order to secure Madhukar’s release, his family is now pleading with the Indian government for immediate assistance. Through the Indian Embassy in Dubai, they have appealed to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, asking for legal and consular support. They filed their case at Hyderabad’s Prajavani public grievance program.

In addition, the family has approached the Telangana State Legal Services Authority, hoping for legal intervention to prove Madhukar’s innocence and facilitate his repatriation.

According to reports, Madhukar was unaware that his bank account had been used for illegal transactions in the UAE. Even though he was not directly involved, he was judged responsible and is now suffering harsh repercussions.

The case highlights the risky circumstances that Indian expatriates may encounter overseas, where they frequently become the targets of financial abuse and legal issues. In the hopes of justice and their son’s safe return, the family is still waiting for the authorities to take action.
