UAE Exchange Metro Station gets a new name
Dubai’s RTA partners with Life Pharmacy Group to rebrand UAE Exchange Metro Station in major branding initiative

UAE Exchange Metro Station Renamed Life Pharmacy Under 10-Year Deal
Dubai’s UAE Exchange Metro Station on the Red Line is set to be renamed Life Pharmacy Metro Station under a new 10-year naming rights agreement. The partnership was formalised through a deal signed between Life Pharmacy Group and Hypermedia, with Mada Media acting on behalf of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
Abdul Mohsen Ibrahim Kalbat, the CEO of RTA’s Rail Agency, emphasized the action as a major turning point in the accomplishment of the 2009-launched Dubai Metro Naming Rights Program. He commended the significance that public-private partnerships play in stimulating innovation and economic progress.
As part of the transition, the RTA will start updating all related signage and system references between May and August 2025.
Commenting on the development, Mada Media CEO Mohamad Al Hammadi noted the aim of transforming metro stations into effective branding platforms. Life Pharmacy’s Chairman and MD Abdul Rahuman Abdul Nazzar described the renaming as a reflection of the company’s deep-rooted commitment to Dubai and its communities.
