UAE Launches Emergency Aid Shipment to Gaza Amid Rising Child Deaths
Abu Dhabi [UAE], December 31: As part of an urgent humanitarian effort, the UAE has launched an emergency aid ship to the Gaza Strip, which is facing a rising number of child deaths due to severe cold, malnutrition and shortages of basic necessities.
As part of this humanitarian endeavor, the Sharjah Foundation, the Zayed Charity and Humanitarian Foundation, and the Emirates Red Crescent have helped to provide much-needed assistance to impacted families and children in the Strip. The assistance consists of winter apparel to fight the extreme cold, milk and nutritional supplements for kids, and comfort packs filled with necessities for impacted families.
The goal of the activities is to give Gazans the tools they need to deal with their challenging living conditions and to lessen their suffering during this extreme cold, particularly that of malnourished children.
The admirable strategy emphasizes the UAE’s humanitarian duty in aiding the most disadvantaged populations in different impacted regions.
